
Ways to be happy and healthy
1. Do What You Love
Do what you love and love what you do is key to have a more fulfilled and enjoyable life. Recognize which activities you enjoy the most and do them frequently. Set the intention of doing something and practice mindfulness while working, exercising, taking care of your family, writing, playing piano, etc. Find your gifts and talents and share them with the world!

2. Spend Time with those you Love
Time is one of the most precious gifts you can give to others. Spend quality time with your family and close friends; have face to face conversations and avoid using any device while talking with them and with others.

3. Eat Healthily
You have one body, make sure you treat it right. Eat consciously, every time you eat you’re either nourishing your body or harming it, chose wisely. The cells in your body need a variety of nutrients; eat more colorful, whole fresh products, full of vitamins and minerals; your body will appreciate it.

4. Keep Active
Find an activity you enjoy and do it regularly. Exercise will help your body burn fat, sleep better, keep your stress levels low, and improve your mental health. Do a regular activity at least three times in a week, preferably in the mornings. Chances are you will keep your routine long-term.

5. Connect with Nature
We are now connected 24/7 to our phones, checking emails and sharing things. Take a break and go hiking, camping, biking, boating or enjoy any other activity outdoors with your family and friends. Spend more time in nature; you will breath fresh air, have fun and see wildlife.

6. Be grateful
Look around you, and you will notice that you have more than you need. Being grateful is a beautiful state of mind to be, don’t take anything for granted. Be thankful each morning to be alive, to breath, to move, to listen, and to see. Be grateful for all the little things; these make life worth living.

7. Give to Others
Find ways to give to others, work for a good cause, find community service opportunities near your home, visit nursing homes, join conservation projects, volunteer in a non-profit, etc. Satisfaction comes from the things we give not the stuff we get.

8. Be Happy
You are responsible for your happiness, nobody else. Make the daily decision to be happy despite the circumstances; you will find the solution faster. Is not what happens to you, is how you react to different situations. Practice mindfulness every day and enjoy every moment.
